On arrival Agra, you will drive towards Taj Mahal.
It is one of the most extravagant monuments that was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It is a memorial built to his loving wife Mumtaj Mahal. The Mahal was built using white marble and it took 22 years to complete. You are bound to get awestruck when you see this excellent piece of art. This monument has attracted a lot of tourists compared to any other monuments in India. The most attractive features of Taj Mahal is its ornamentation, perfect proportions, medium of construction and distinct femininity. The way this monument is built it reflects the Indo Persian style as there are a lot of inscriptions that are inscribed on its walls.

Transfer to a restaurant for buffet lunch

Agra Fort: The heritage site that you can visit while you are in Agra is the Red Fort. The foundation of this monument was laid down by Akbar in the year 1565. The whole structure of the fort was constructed considering the strategic needs. You will see that there are numerous buildings inside the fort which includes Diwan-e-Khas, Moti Masjid and Khas Mahal. The fort is built in the shape of a crescent and it faces the Yamuna River. The famous characteristics of the fort include ramparts that are punctuated by the projections called bastion.

Later you can do some shopping of some leather items that are sold on a large scale in the market.
