Golden Triangle with Varanasi combines India’s most famous cultural circuit with one of the holiest cities in the world. This 8 Nights / 9 Days tour covers Delhi, Varanasi, Agra and Jaipur – giving you a mix of heritage monuments, spiritual experiences and local markets.
The tour includes private air-conditioned car and experienced driver for the Golden Triangle part, and assistance for flights / train to Varanasi. Hotel category, pace of sightseeing and start / end points can be customized as per your travel dates and interests.
Upon arrival at Delhi, our representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Freshen up and relax for a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
Take breakfast at the hotel and proceed for the full-day city tour of Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid and enjoy a rickshaw ride in the bustling bazaars of Chandni Chowk, drive past Red Fort (from outside) and visit Raj Ghat. Later visit Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, and drive past India Gate, Parliament House and the President’s House. If time permits, you may also visit Lotus Temple (from outside). Return to your hotel in the evening and stay overnight in Delhi.
After early breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to the airport to board your flight to Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel. Later visit Bharat Mata Temple, Kashi Vishwanath Temple (as per local rules) and the riverside ghats. In the evening, you may witness the famous Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Varanasi.
Early morning leave for a boat excursion on River Ganges to see the bathing ghats and cremation sites. Experience the spiritual side of Varanasi as locals perform their morning rituals on the banks of the river. Return to the hotel for breakfast.
In the afternoon, take an excursion to Sarnath – the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the ruins, the stupa, Buddhist temple and the archaeological museum (closed on Fridays). Later return to Varanasi for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, check out and travel to Agra – either by flight / train via Delhi (as per your ticket booking). On arrival in Agra, our representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. In the evening, you can relax at the hotel or visit Mehtab Bagh for a sunset view of the Taj Mahal (optional). Overnight stay in Agra.
Early morning, visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise (closed on Friday) to enjoy its stunning beauty. Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out. Later visit Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb (Baby Taj).
In the afternoon, drive to Jaipur. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri – the deserted red-sandstone city built by Emperor Akbar. On arrival in Jaipur, transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Take breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan and famously known as the Pink City. Visit Amber Fort and enjoy a photo stop at Jal Mahal (Water Palace). Later visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar (Royal Observatory).
Drive past Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) for photographs and explore the local markets for handicrafts, textiles and jewellery. Return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Jaipur.
Have your morning breakfast and then drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, you will be transferred to your hotel or directly to the airport / railway station depending on your onward journey plan. If you have a next-day flight, overnight stay can be arranged in Delhi.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Delhi Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
