Today, Agra is globally known for the Taj Mahal, but the city also offers a rich cultural heritage and important monuments such as the Agra Fort. Situated on the banks of the River Yamuna, Agra gives a strong glimpse of the Mughal era through its monuments, gardens and old city lanes.

Our representative/driver will meet you at your hotel or airport in Jaipur. After a short briefing, you will start your drive towards Agra in a comfortable air-conditioned car.
On arrival in Agra, you will proceed directly to visit the Taj Mahal.
The Taj Mahal is one of the most magnificent monuments in the world, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Constructed in pure white marble, it took about 22 years to complete. The perfect symmetry, intricate inlay work, delicate carvings and the overall elegance of the structure make it a masterpiece of Indo-Persian architecture. The inscriptions and decorative details on the walls further enhance its beauty.
After visiting the Taj Mahal, you will be transferred to a restaurant for lunch. You can enjoy Indian/continental cuisine (lunch cost can be included or on direct payment as per the package).
After lunch, proceed to visit the Agra Fort.
The Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was started by Emperor Akbar in 1565. It was built as a military structure but later transformed into a royal residence. Within the fort complex, you can see many beautiful buildings such as Diwan-e-Khas, Moti Masjid and Khas Mahal. The fort is semi-circular in plan and overlooks the Yamuna River. Massive ramparts and bastions add to its grandeur and defensive strength.
After the fort visit, time permitting, you can explore local markets for leather goods, handicrafts and marble souvenirs for which Agra is very famous.
After completing sightseeing in Agra, you will start your return drive to Jaipur.
