Rajasthan & Wildlife with Extended Golden Triangle is a 19 days private tour that combines the classic Golden Triangle with desert forts, heritage towns and wildlife safaris. The journey covers Delhi, Jaipur, Alsisar, Khimsar, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Jojawar, Udaipur, Devgarh, Chittorgarh, Bundi, Ranthambore National Park, Karauli and Agra. Below is a suggested itinerary which can be customized as per your travel plans.
Upon arrival at Delhi, our representative will greet you at the airport / railway station and assist with transfer to the hotel. Check-in and relax after your journey.
*If you arrive in the morning or before afternoon, we can also arrange a short orientation drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House), Parliament House and Raj Ghat. More inner-city monuments can be covered on Day 2.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of Delhi including Red Fort (outside view), Jama Masjid, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate, Parliament House (drive past), President's House (drive past) and Lotus Temple (from outside if closed).
Experience a traditional rickshaw ride through the bustling bazaars of Chandni Chowk and visit Khari Baoli spice market before returning to your hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Jaipur – the capital city of Rajasthan often called the Pink City. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and relax.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner at Chokhi Dhani (optional) with folk music, dance and cultural activities. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.
After breakfast, enjoy full day sightseeing of Jaipur. Visit the hilltop Amber Fort (with option of jeep ride), Panna Meena Kund, Jal Mahal (photo stop), City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal (photo stop) and Albert Hall (photo stop).
Evening free for local bazaars or café hopping. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
After early breakfast, drive to Alsisar in the Shekhawati region. On arrival, check-in at the heritage Alsisar Mahal or similar property.
Explore the palace, courtyards, frescoed havelis and nearby village lanes showcasing traditional Rajasthani life. Overnight stay at Alsisar.
After breakfast, drive towards Khimsar – a small town known for its majestic fort and rural surroundings. On arrival, check-in at your heritage hotel.
Later visit Khimsar Fort and enjoy the stunning sunset views over the sand dunes and countryside. Overnight stay at Khimsar.
After breakfast, drive towards Jaisalmer. En route visit Osian – an oasis town famous for its beautiful Hindu and Jain temples.
Continue to Jaisalmer and on arrival check-in at the hotel. Evening at leisure to experience the golden city atmosphere. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
After breakfast, enjoy a heritage walk and sightseeing inside the golden Jaisalmer Fort, famous for its exquisitely carved havelis, narrow lanes and temples.
Visit Patwon Ki Haveli, Nathmal Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli and local markets. (Optional: evening visit to Sam sand dunes for camel ride and folk dance show). Overnight at hotel in Jaisalmer.
After breakfast, drive from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur. On arrival, check-in at your hotel and relax for a while.
Later visit Jaswant Thada and explore the majestic Mehrangarh Fort with its palaces, courtyards and museum. See the Umaid Bhawan Palace (museum section) and enjoy panoramic views of the Blue City. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
After breakfast, drive to Jojawar – a charming village in the Aravalli hills. On arrival, check-in at your heritage hotel.
Enjoy rural activities like village safari, horse rides or jeep drives to nearby countryside and wildlife areas such as Kesar Bagh (optional, subject to availability). Overnight stay at Jojawar.
After breakfast, drive to Udaipur – the romantic City of Lakes. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel.
In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola (subject to water level & availability) and admire the views of City Palace, Jag Mandir and old ghats. Overnight stay in Udaipur.
After breakfast, proceed for full day Udaipur sightseeing including City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Fateh Sagar Lake and local markets.
Evening free for leisure or an optional cultural show at Bagore Ki Haveli. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
After breakfast, drive to Devgarh. On arrival, check-in at your heritage hotel or palace.
Later visit Devgarh Fort, Gokal Vilas and stroll around the old town to experience local life and architecture. Overnight stay at Devgarh.
After breakfast, drive towards Bundi. En route visit Chittorgarh Fort – the largest fort in India associated with the tales of courage and sacrifice of Rajput warriors.
Continue to Bundi and on arrival check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.
After early breakfast, explore Bundi attractions such as Taragarh Fort, Bundi Palace and the beautiful stepwells and Chitrashala murals.
Later drive to Ranthambore National Park. On arrival, check-in at the wildlife lodge or resort. Overnight stay near Ranthambore.
Early morning enjoy a jungle safari in Ranthambore National Park by shared canter or private jeep (as pre-booked). Look out for tigers, leopards, deer, birds and other wildlife.
After lunch, you may opt for a second safari or visit attractions such as Ranthambore Fort, Bakaula and Kachida valley. Overnight stay at Ranthambore.
*Please note: Ranthambore National Park usually remains closed during monsoon (1st July to 30th September). Safaris are subject to park regulations.
After breakfast, drive to Karauli – a heritage town famous for its temples and palace. On arrival, check-in at your hotel or heritage property.
Later visit City Palace, Kaila Devi Temple, Shri Mahavirji Temple, Timangarh Fort (time permitting) and Madan Mohan Temple. Overnight stay at Karauli.
After breakfast, drive to Agra. On arrival, check-in at your hotel.
Later visit Agra Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah's Tomb (Baby Taj). In the evening, visit the Taj Mahal (subject to opening days & timings) and enjoy the majestic view of this monument of love. Overnight stay in Agra.
After breakfast, drive back to Delhi. On arrival, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station for your onward journey with wonderful memories of Rajasthan & Wildlife with Extended Golden Triangle tour.
